Martinsyde Scout

A British biplane from 1915. It was used by the Royal Flying Corps for Zeppelin defense.

In May 1915, the British War Office instructed to RFC to keep one one plane ready at each of its airfield at all times. The RFC chose the Martinsyde Scout as the best plane for the task.

Martinsyde Scout is an aircraft: single-seat scout plane.
