The 1916 Poets Edited with an Introduction by Desmond Ryan. Poems of the The Irish poets Padraic H. Pearse, Thomas MacDonagh, and Joseph M. Plunkett. The three men all took part in the Irish Easter Rising of 1916, and all were executed, Pearse and MacDonagh on May 3, and Plunkett on May 4.
